Member Spotlight on Stacey W Betts Law

April 1, 2017

Stacey Betts grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia and attended Temple University's School of Law. After graduating in 1990, she chose to begin her legal career in Ephrata and has been practicing law in Lancaster County ever since.

When she moved to the Manheim area, the life experience of having two sons with special needs propelled Stacey to become well versed in the laws related to special education. In addition to advocating for her kids, and practicing law, Stacey has also co-authored two books, Yoga for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and Asperger Syndrome in the Inclusive Classroom.

In September of last year, Stacey opened her own practice in Mount Joy. She notes that there is a need for attorneys in the Mount Joy/Marietta area. Stacey W Betts Law Office aims to meet that need, and to be accessible to everyday people when they have legal problems.

Stacey desires to build long lasting relationships with her clients. She gets to the heart of the matter, and offers folks legal guidance, whether the issue is something they can handle on their own, or whether they need full legal representation. Working within both the York and Lancaster court systems, Stacey handles issues of family law, estate planning, boundary disputes, zoning issues, education law, personal injury, and other legal concerns.

Stacey W Betts Law Office is a member of MABA and the Donegal Rotary Club. Stacey can help businesses get started and achieve non-profit status, if requirements are met. She is learning that she really enjoys the business aspects of having her own practice such as learning about advertising, accounting, and having the freedom to be who she is—a consistent, reliable, and efficient lawyer.

Whatever your legal needs are, you will find an attorney who is warm and easy to relate to when you meet Stacey Betts. More information is available on her website (http://www.staceywbettslaw.com/).
